Doggy Day Care

Believe it or not, dogs do not need opportunities to play with large groups of unfamiliar dogs. For some dogs, having just a select few dog friends is all they need and for others, they don’t need any dog friends- all they need is you!

Dog Parks & Daycares may do more harm than good for your dog.

They create a lot of problems that can be so difficult to eradicate; one of them being reactivity. For me, it’s just not worth it.

The only exception to daycare in my opinion would be one that is very selective in who they allow your dog to interact with. Perhaps just one or two dogs as well as having a staff that is educated on dog behavior and body language but unfortunately many day care employees only know how to be reactive instead of proactive when it comes to problems.

So find other ways in a more controlled setting to set up a doggy play date.
