Routine, Structure, and Consistency are super important but if you are not having fun training your dog, then your dog is not having fun, and that is the most important part. Both of you must see this as a positive experience otherwise it will not work.

So if at any point you feel like it is not fun, take a break, reflect and figure out how you can change what you’re doing so that you are both enjoying being together.
