Eliminate Free Feeding

Free Feeding (leaving food in your dog’s bowl all day) can create a picky eater.

There are many reasons why this may not be the best option for dogs, one of them being a sanitary issue.

While dry dog food is meant to resist spoiling easily, it does still have a shelf life, and can go rancid quickly if not left in an air tight container or bag. Furthermore, leaving food out can attract bugs.

In addition, leaving your dog’s food out makes it less appetizing.

It’s there all of the time. Nothing exciting about it.

I don’t know about you, but if my food just sat on a plate all day, every day, my motivation to eat that food would diminish daily.
